Richard Theibert, a
shareholder, is a native of Akron, Ohio.
Mr. Theibert graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University and received his law
degree from New York University School of Law.
Richard Theibert enjoys reading and
coaching and currently serves as president of the Southside/Avondale
baseball/softball league. He and his wife, Anne, have three children, Leslie,
Jillian, and Elizabeth. Leslie attends Johns Hopkins University.
Richard Theibert is the recipient of
the American Jurisprudence Award for Family Law and is a Tishman Fellow.
Mr. Theibert was an instructor at the University of Baltimore School of Law and is
currently and instructor in Property Law and Advanced Property Law at
Birmingham School of Law, where he has been selected as Professor of the
Year for eight consecutive years.
Richard Theibert is admitted to the Maryland Bar
Association and the United States District Court of Maryland; the Alabama
State Bar; the United States District Court, Middle District of Alabama, and
the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit.
Richard Theibert is chair of the
Birmingham Housing Development Corporation and has served as president of
Alabama Real Estate Lawyers.
