Biography
Ed Bowron received his B.A. degree in History from the University of Alabama in 1981 and his J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1985. Ed Bowron began practice with a Birmingham law firm, and participated as the second chair in 10 jury trials in his first 18 months following bar admission, and tried numerous non-jury cases during that same period.
Two years later, in 1987, Ed Bowron moved to Mobile and tried his first solo jury trial six weeks later.
Ed Bowron practices before all state and federal courts in Alabama and considers himself a generalist who will try any type of case in any forum.
Ed Bowron has been selected for inclusion in Alabama Super Lawyers from 2008 through 2011, and he is listed as one of The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Bet-the-Company Litigation.
Ed Bowron's hobbies include fishing, waterskiing, and reading. He offers the following advice to law students: "You have an opportunity to join a noble profession; so treat it with the respect it deserves."
