Victoria earned her undergraduate degree in political science and
history from Georgia College and State University in 2004 and received her law
degree from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama in 2007.
While in law school, Victoria
served as the Student Materials Editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, and authored the article, Recent Development: Love v. Rancocas
Hospital: Applicability of EMTALA to
Insured and Uninsured Patients, 29 AM. J. TRIAL. ADVOC. 521 (Fall
2005). Victoria also served as an
Associate Justice for Cumberland’s Henry Upson Simms Moot Court Board, was
named the winner of Cumberland’s Janie L. Shores Moot Court Competition, and
was a competitor on the school’s National ABA Appellate Advocacy team. Victoria received academic recognition over
the course of her law school career as a Scholar of Merit for her achievements
in Jurisprudence: Foundations of Law, Domestic Relations, Scientific Evidence,
and Conflicts of Law. She was also
chosen to serve as a Judge Abraham Caruthers Fellow, where she assisted in
Cumberland’s Legal Research and Writing program.
In 2007, immediately following law
school, Victoria joined Fischer & Associates, LLC as an Associate, and she
continues in that capacity today. Victoria's practice with the Firm involves
representing plaintiffs in a wide variety of claims and issues, including personal
injury, commercial trucking litigation, premises liability, business disputes,
complex and class litigation, insurance fraud and bad faith, defective
products, medical negligence, and automobile accidents.
Victoria has advanced quickly
within the Firm, gaining a great deal of knowledge and skills that many of her
peers do not experience until much later in their legal careers. Victoria participated in three jury trials
during her first year of practice and has secured several victories for her
clients at the Alabama Supreme Court level.
Victoria has also been involved in a number of highly successful
pre-suit and pre-trial settlements on behalf of her clients, including a $3

other six and seven figure settlements in the areas in which the Firm
practices. Victoria has gained
invaluable and crucial experience in hearings, depositions, negotiations,
mediations, and trials around the State of Alabama, and uses that experience
every day to help those who have experienced harm or loss as a result of the
wrongful actions of others.
Victoria is a member of the American Bar Association, the
Alabama State Bar, and the Birmingham Bar Association, and is admitted to the
United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
