Jeff Beaverstock is a member of the state and federal Bars of both Alabama and Florida and actively tries cases in both states. Jeff Beaverstock serves as Burr & Forman’s principal Florida litigator.
Jeff Beaverstock received his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law where he served as Managing Editor of the Alabama Law Review. Mr. Beaverstock received his undergraduate degree from the Citadel as a Distinguished Military Graduate.
Jeff Beaverstock served four years as an Airborne Ranger Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army, and currently holds the rank of Major in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the U.S. Army (Reserve).
Mr. Beaverstock is Chairman of the Staff Parish Relations Committee at Christ United Methodist Church in Mobile. He also serves as a Den Leader in his son’s Cub Scout Pack.
Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife, their two sons and their English Bulldog. He also enjoys woodworking, kayaking, and camping.
Jeff Beaverstock spends one weekend a month defending soldiers who get into trouble as a Jag Officer and Senior Defense Counsel in the Army Reserve.
He offers the following advice to law students: "Don’t assume you know what area of the law you will practice when you start law school. Try different things— you may be surprised."
