Biography
Larry Darby is a native of Conecuh County, Alabama. Mr. Darby grew up and worked on the family farm and graduated from Sparta Academy in Evergreen. Mr. Darby's academic accomplishments include a BS from the University of Alabama, a Certificate of Achievement in International Business, MBA from Auburn University at Montgomery and Juris Doctor from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, where he finished magna cum laude.
Experience
Before practicing law, Mr. Darby attained substantial managerial experience in the agricultural, transportation, retail and light industrial sectors, which included some work in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. While in law school, Mr. Darby worked as an appraiser and private investigator for lenders and insurers. Mr. Darby has substantial experience representing families, small businesses and landlords.
