Biography

Reta A. McKannan is an Attorney at Law in Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama. She finished an undergraduate degree in Journalism at Auburn University, then spent 10 years as a reporter for The Huntsville Times before working as Communications Director for the Madison County District Attorney’s Office.

Reta completed a law degree from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in 1998. After passing the bar exam in 1999, Reta has offered legal services in family law, including divorce, child support, modification of divorce decrees, adoption and other probate work, wills, criminal defense, and juvenile law involving juvenile delinquency and dependency.
