Biography
Mr. Fawal graduated from Birmingham Southern College, 1972 with a Bachelor of Arts
degree. Masters Degree from Cumberland School of Law, Juris Doctorate
degree cum laude, 1977 where he was a member of the Law Review. Mr. Fawal also clerked for the
Alabama Supreme Court from 1977 until 1978.
Experience
Mr. Fawal is an Alabama State Bar Commissioner for the Tenth Judicial Circuit; Alabama Law Foundation Trustee; member of the Alabama State Bar Association, Disciplinary Commission, a member of the Atticus Finch Society, a sustaining member of the Birmingham Bar Association, and a member of the Birmingham Inns of Court. Mr. Fawal currently serves as the President of the Birmingham Bar Association and is a member of the Executive Counsel of the Alabama State Bar Association. Mr. Fawal is a Fellow of the Alabama Law Foundation and a Fellow of the American Law Foundation. Mr. Fawal has been named Best Lawyer and Super Lawyer.
