Biography
Roger Lucas, a partner at the firm of Marsh, Rickard & Bryan, P.C., brings thirty years of litigation experience to the firm. He has received the highest rating of AV Preeminent for legal ability and ethical standards from his peers for the last 16 years.
Roger graduated from the University of Montevallo in 1978, and from the Cumberland School of Law in 1981. Following law school, Roger served as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice Eric Embry of the Supreme Court of Alabama.
Experience
Roger has focused heavily throughout his career on workplace-related product liability and negligence cases growing out of industrial, construction and agricultural settings. He obtained the largest verdict on record for a "co-employee" negligence suit in Alabama. Roger also has significant experience handling product liability claims involving consumer products.
Roger is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Alabama Association for Justice. He chaired the Amicus Curiae Committee and served on the Executive Committee and Board of Governors for the Alabama organization. Roger has also served on the Boards of the Alabama Head Injury Foundation and the Alabama Children's Trust Fund.
