Thomas Stewart is a Birmingham native. He graduated from University of North Carolina School of Law, Chapel Hill, NC, 1975 J.D.
After graduating from the Birmingham Public School system, Tom Stewart received his B.A. Degree in 1971 from Vanderbilt University in Nashville Tennessee.
Experience
Upon graduation from Law School in 1975 Mr. Tom Stewart worked for three years as In House Counsel for a local Corporation engaged in the Coal Mining and Road Building business before joining with Charlie Waldrep and Mike Kendrick to form Waldrep, Stewart and Kendrick in 1978. Since then, Tom Stewart has been in the continuous full time practice of law. He has represented many local firms, both public and private, in a variety of matters. His current practice primarily involves the representation of public entities and corporations.
Tom Stewart was named in the 2010 and 2011 editions of Best Lawyers.
