Biography
Liz Carter graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy University,
with a major in Political Science. She
went on to law school at the Cumberland School of Law, where she was a member
of the Henry Upson Moot Court and Trial Advocacy Board. After graduating in 1994, she clerked for the
Honorable Sonny Hornsby, Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. Liz joined the firm in 1995.
Experience
Liz Carter handles all aspects of labor and employment
planning, investigation, education and litigation. These areas include FMLA,
workers' compensation, Title VII, ADEA, and ADA. She is also experienced with
commercial litigation, coverage litigation and insurance fraud.
