Biography
Shawn Cole graduated from the
University of Alabama in 1990. She went
on the Cumberland School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 1993. Shawn is married to Les Cole, an architect,
and has two amazing children, Jackson and Mary Elizabeth.
Experience
Virtually 100% of Shawn’s practice involves workers’ compensation
matters. She represents insurance
companies, corporations and other businesses, both large and small, throughout
Alabama, in a variety of insurance related legal matters including consultations
on preventative measures to alleviate on the job injuries and handling
work-related claims prior to litigation. She worked in both private practice
and as in-house counsel, dealing with litigation and regulatory compliance
matters for companies that underwrite workers' compensation and employers'
liability coverage.
